Free Asbestos Training Courses for Schools

There has been an increasing amount of coverage in the press recently concerning the possible presence of asbestos and asbestos containing materials in school buildings and the danger this presents to staff and pupils. The Daily Mirror reports a claim that up to 300 pupils a year may die as a result of exposure to asbestos from their time at school.

Free Asbestos Awareness Training for Schools

Given the financial pressures on schools and local education authorities, we are launching an initiative to provide free asbestos courses to schools. Schools are entitled to one free place each on our online asbestos training course. This is the full version of the course: UKATA accredited and with a UKATA certificate on completion. At first, we are limiting the number of free places we can offer to 50; however, we hope to extend this figure as the campaign progresses.

How to Apply

To get access to your free course, you just need to send an email to us at support@bainbridgeelearning.co.uk. Please note that you will need to send this from your school email account or provide proof that you are applying on behalf of a school.

Once we receive your application, we will issue your licence keys and password to provide access to our online course. Once you’ve completed the course and passed the assessment, you will be issued with a UKATA certificate which is valid for 12 months.

About UKATA
